Jordan's visit

For the past 10 days, we have had Jeff's youngest brother Jordan staying with us. He joined us on our crazy summer traveling and we all had a blast! I think after this summer Jeff and I might need to hibernate to catch up on our sleep. Oh wait, school starts!

Jordan got into NYC last Friday, and we headed out for a weekend adventure in Upstate New York. Our weekend trip definitely required a lot of driving, but we were able to stop at Niagara Falls, Palmyra, and Cooperstown.

The overall highlight of my weekend was the Maid of the Mist

we got SOAKED!

 The Falls were absolutely spectacular.

Jeff's Aunt Jean and Uncle Larry are on a mission in Palmyra at the church history sites and we were able to visit them for a couple of days. We spent a couple of nights at their apartment, and were able to have them show us around each site. We enjoyed spending some time with them!

Jeff's Aunt Jean and Uncle Larry live only a couple blocks away from Jeff and I in Provo, so we have been able to spend time and get to know them better over the past two years while Jeff has been in school at BYU.

During the week, Jeff had to work so Jordan and I explored the city together. Can I just say how grateful I am that I have two awesome brothers-in-law?

 On Saturday we went to a Brooklyn Flea Market called Smorgasburg that is basically a huge food festival. It became one of my new favorite things to do here.

 After Smorgasburg, we rented Citi Bikes and rode from Williamsburg, Brooklyn across the Williamsburg Bridge, down the boardwalk around South Ferry, and through Chelsea. If that doesn't make sense, basically we rode from north Brooklyn around the south-end of Manhattan to Times Square on the boardwalk next to the water. It was such a fun ride!

We are SO happy that you came to visit us... we love you Jord!
