The Today Show & Rascal Flatts

Although I have been to NYC twice before, I have never gone early to the Today Show. This morning Rascal Flatts performed as part of the summer concert series so it was a perfect opportunity.
Jeff works just a couple blocks from Rockefeller Plaza so it worked out perfectly for him to come with me for the beginning of the show.

lottery #1

I won lottery tickets for front row tickets to WICKED!!
Many of you may know that I am a complete sucker for musicals. I would see one every weekend if I could. Wicked is my absolute favorite and I loved it even more my FOURTH time seeing it.

Mets Game

We arrived in New York and had a few days to explore the city before Jeff started his internship. Are you surprised that one of the first things we did was go to a New York Mets baseball game? I hope not!
our first time at Citi Field
Citi Field was beautiful! Just in case you were wondering, Jeff and I go to a LOT of baseball games. Jeff ranks the field off of the team, and I rank the field off of how nice the facility is and how yummy the food is. In my opinion, Citi Field was beautiful with nicely striped grass, but the food was NOT great. All in all, it was a treat to be at a "day game."

our nyc house

We are now living in our 4th apartment (yes, 4 different apartments in 3 years) and it is absolutely charming. I love to take pictures of each apartment as a keepsake and memory. We live in a one bedroom apartment and it is perfect. It is much better than Jeff and I could have hoped for! We love it and wish we could make it permanent.

Our apartment is wonderful, and we are happy to be here!

Crater Springs

Right before we left we played one last round of golf with the Davis family at Crater Springs Golf Course (the Homestead). We were sad that Jordan wasn't there to play with us, but it was fun to be together one last time.

moving day

Jeff accepted an internship in New York City with Major League Baseball. He will be working in the legal department of the Office of the Commissioner (the headquarters of MLB). I am so proud of him for working hard in law school and also very grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to us. We are excited for the adventure that we have ahead of us this summer in Manhattan and can't wait to experience it together! We feel blessed.
Jeff and I decided to box up our entire house and put it in storage for the summer. We are grateful for all of the amazing friends and family that we had helping us during our move. We truly have incredible friends, thank you to all of you who helped us!

Moving was a huge success. I am so grateful for all of the packing and moving that Jeff did for us. We cannot wait for this fun adventure we have ahead of us!

Weekend in Midway

Jeff and I had the privilege to spend the weekend in Midway with the Davis family. I loved our long walks, eating out, golfing, visiting the cemetery, and being able to spend time with family.
We golfed the Homestead and it was BEAUTIFUL!!
We had a two-sum of us girls
Raelene is my favorite person to golf with
and a four-sum of the boys
Jordan & Jeff (Justin & Lyle not pictured)
Jeff and I are sad that we won't be able to golf very much this year, but we are grateful for the couple of times that we have been able to go so far.
