We have had such a wonderful weekend... First off, my parents came to
stay with us for a few days, and it has been so much fun seeing them and
spending time together. I loved being able to show them our "new" life
here--our apartment, where we work, and just our favorite things here
in the city. I took off the day Friday and we had a great time spending
time together. We missed Jeff though.

We did an architecture speed boat tour
that took us 15 minutes out cruising on Lake Michigan, and then an hour
down the river teaching about the history of Chicago. This was
definitely a highlight of my weekend. It was so fun seeing the city
with a different perspective, and overall it was just fun!

On Saturday we went to the White Sox vs. Mariners game. We had GREAT
seats, and the weather turned out to be wonderful. We were assured that
we live in the WINDY CITY.

In between conference we walked down to Millennium Park.

We had a great weekend having my parents
here. I am so grateful that they were able to come out for a visit,
and we enjoyed having them stay with us!
