On Friday night, Jeff and I headed down to Brighton Beach and Coney Island after work.

It was fun to see what the beaches are like in Brooklyn. I would say that they are definitely not the prettiest beaches, but there was a lot going on and it was a fun atmosphere.
We enjoyed walking along the boardwalk to Coney Island.
Coney Island is the "Lagoon" in NYC, but I would say it's more like a state fair on steroids. There are tons of crazy roller coasters, games to win stuffed animals, and food trucks with fried food everywhere.
We, of course, had to stop by the famous Nathan's Hot Dogs
We had a blast spending the night at Coney Island and in Brooklyn!

Head down to the Jersey Shore! Those are the most beautiful beaches.
